Thailand is the easiest international holiday from India — direct flights from 8 cities, visa-on-arrival, English everywhere and a rupee that goes far. Here's the no-fluff guide.
Visa for Indians (2026)
Visa-on-arrival is available for stays up to 15 days at all major Thai airports. Cost: 2,000 THB (~₹4,800). Bring 2 passport photos, return ticket, hotel booking and 20,000 THB cash equivalent. Recommended: apply for the e-Visa online before flying — it's faster and avoids airport queues.
Best time to visit
November–March is peak — dry, sunny, perfect. April is hottest. May–October is monsoon (cheaper, still travel-able if you don't mind afternoon showers).

Money tips
Carry USD or INR and exchange at SuperRich Thailand (best rates). Don't exchange at the airport. International cards work everywhere; UPI does not (yet — coming soon).
Mistakes to avoid
- Don't book Bangkok–Phuket flights separately if combining; let us bundle for ~30% cheaper
- Skip "free" tuk-tuk tours — they're shopping traps
- Always negotiate at markets — start at 40% of asking price
